Ofsted

Ofsted (the Office for Standards in Education) is the official body for inspecting schools in England. Their reports provide an independent view of how well a school is performing across areas like teaching, behaviour, leadership and pupil outcomes.

Highgate Primary’s latest inspection

Following our inspection in May 2024, Highgate Primary School was graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.

The exceptional report concludes that at Highgate Primary, ‘all pupils receive an excellent education’.

It also states that ‘pupils at Highgate Primary are enthusiastic learners who enjoy coming to school each day,’ it recognises their love of learning and concludes that ‘children are rightly proud of their school’.

We could not be more proud of our school. We have all worked exceptionally hard to build a creative curriculum that genuinely excites our children. Having their love of learning and enthusiasm for school recognised by Ofsted is a wonderful validation of everything we set out to achieve. Our children and staff are fantastic and inspectors noted this when they visited our school. Throughout the report, praise is given to them, and quite rightly as they are the ones who make the school such a happy place to learn and work.
