Blanche Nevile School for Deaf Children

Highgate Primary has a strong partnership with Blanche Nevile School for Deaf Children. Children who attend Blanche Nevile are taught by specially trained teachers, but also spend time integrating into the mainstream class at Highgate Primary. The partnership provides an exemplar of high-quality inclusive education that supports the learning needs of children across both schools and supports children to develop positive attitudes towards difference and inclusion.

Kate Stilitz Music

Kate Stilitz is a composer, theatre director and workshop leader who specialises in creating new musical works for young people.

She collaborates with Highgate Primary School to produce vibrant, ambitious new works which offer young people opportunities to participate in high-quality musical performance and works closely with schools and partner organisations to create experiences for children that enrich the curriculum through the arts.

Her projects, including ‘Meadowsong’ and ‘One Small Bird’ engage our children with stories from the natural world through Music, the Arts, Science and English.

Highgate Art Fair

Highgate Primary School hosts the Highgate Art Fair in November, which brings together a wonderful mix of over 40 local and international artists, galleries, and collectives, filling the school with colour, creativity, and inspiration. One of the true highlights of the weekend is the enchanting display of our children’s artwork, lovingly guided by our art teacher, Andrea Rodriguez Lagartos. Their imaginative creations transform one of our studio spaces into a world of wonder.
